It seems that nearly every Sunday I mention to my congregation something about the events in the Middle East and our need to be informed of what is happening in the world. I do not really think they are listening. They are hearing, but they are not listening. It is the same for the world. The Middle East is about to explode. Whether in Syria, Egypt, Iran, or Saudi Arabia. The explosion will trigger events in the world unprecedented in human history. How long before the trickle-down impacts America? Remember it is the oil that will impact us first. Oil is thicker than water but eventually it trickles down all the same.
The article below expresses the same view for the peoples of the entire world. They are not listening either. The link is to a video; a quick look. Take the time, please.

Jesus come quickly.
Blessings.
Jack
I agree Jack. Most people do not see what is coming. They are not expecting the events of the end times and not expecting Jesus return. We are in the days of Lot and the days like the days of Noah and they don’t see it because they are participating in it. I am afraid that it is these people that Jesus will return to as a thief. Jesus said for all to “watch”, but hardly anyone is watching.
As far as professing Christians, I believe satan has effectively disarmed the Christian community. Both Jesus and Paul warned that the days just prior to Jesus’ return would be characterized by spiritual deception. The so-called prosperity gospel and false gospels and teachers have numbed the spiritual sensitivity of professing Christian’s by their love for the things of the world and self edification and lack of love for other Christians who are suffering persecution atrocities.
Jack: Since I was a child I have heard endless sermons, read many books, and taught frequently about the end times. In the early 50’s interest was peaked because of the establishment of modern Israel, and the beginning of serious end times nation alignments. I think we are numb because of all of the conjecture without historical connections, lack of textual integrity, and the need of a larger perspecitve than what makes us feel good. The second coming of Christ, along with all of the surrounding prophecies, is still significant, and we must not think that we have heard it all before, because we have not. You are a great blessing.
