The Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. is raising eyebrows after lifting up prayers to Allah at its General Assembly meeting last week:

“Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path – the path of all prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. … In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful, let us praise the Lord… Peace be upon them and peace be upon Allah,” Said prayed. He also prayed peace on the “bigots” and “Islamaphobes.”

The denomination opened its General Assembly with a prayer to Allah as the “first order of business,” a time dedicated to “praying for those affected by the Orlando shooting” that occurred a few weeks before. How “tolerant” and “loving” the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. was to offer a prayer in the name of the god that was also proclaimed as each of the fifty people were killed at the Orlando shooting. If I were one of the relatives of those murdered to the sound of “Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar” God is greater, God is greater…

So here is a question for you. It has several important points, all taken from the Qur’an, that I want to give you before you can offer an informed answer. The question is “Should Jews and Christians throw out their Scriptures and replace them with a Qur’an?” Here the point from the Qur’an to consider, first:

– If Allah and God are the same (as the Presbyterian Church, U.S.A., apparently believes) then both the Scriptures and the Qur’an are the result of the same inspired Word of Allah/God, from the same God. This is the claim of the Qur’an;

  1. Since the Qur’an claims that the Scriptures are a revelation from the same heavenly tablet in heaven as the Qur’an is, but the Scriptures (both Old and New Testaments) are different in several material respects from the Qur’an, then, the authors of the Scriptures corrupted them.
  2. The Qur’an, as the literal speech of Allah/God corrects the errors in the Scriptures. It abrogates, supersedes, all prior revelations because it came last of the three (although the Qur’an proclaims itself to supersede the revelations of the people of the book but just that they never got it right). Muhammad is the last, greatest, messgenger of Allah/God and his message is the only true message and Islam is the only true religion. The Qur’an says so.

Again, the question is: Should Jews and Christians throw out their Scriptures and replace them with a Qur’an? (Not that we will but should we? Logically?)

Do you think that actions such as what the Presbyterian Church did when it prayed its prayer in the name of Allah, and included this statement: “Lead us on the straight path – the path of all prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad.”, supports what the Bible says or what the Qur’an says? Are they the same, particularly as it relates to Jesus, the Son of God? The Presbyterian Church U.S.A., must think so because it joined the Qur’an in declaring agreement that all these are Muslims (including Jesus) (Qur’an 2:133-136, 29:46). Why doesn’t the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. not just use the Qur’an in worship since both it and the Bible are written by the same God? Perhaps they will lead all Christians to face Mecca and pray 5x a day since the same god resides at Mecca that resides in the hearts of the followers of Jesus.

Just because the Qur’an declares Allah the same as God does not make it so, even when a mainline, deceived Presbyterian Church leadership says it is so.

May God forgive us. This is one of the many evidences that we are in the middle of the apostasy of 1 Thessalonians 2:3-4.

Jesus come quickly.

Blessings.
